The most important step in storytelling is choosing the right story to tell. You don’t want to end up telling a story that does the opposite of what you want it to do. When using storytelling to sell your products you should consider the following factors:
What do you want your audience to think at the end of the story?
- What exactly is the moral lesson of your story and how relevant is it to your product.
- What is the climax of your story? Every good story must have a climax and it must not necessarily be emotional but there should be a feel that come with it whether happy or sad.
- Start with simple engaging stories like the inspiration behind starting the business, about the founders of the business etc.
Every business owner knows that to get more customers you must carry out adverts. But how many really do this? Advertising does the following;
- Provides information to the customers.
- Persuades customers to purchase.
- Get more sales.
- Build a customer base.
Make sure that the adverts you put out is doing any or all of the listed factors above. Creating a great advert gives a good representation of your brand.

Every business has a competition so you need to stand out from your competition in other to have sales. Research and find out everything you need to know about your competition and use them to your advantage. Your differences should stand out in your adverts!
